Aerial Photography Commment: 0  printer friendly  email to someone
The West Lothian Archaeology Group was founded by Dr John Wells, a member of the Glasgow Archaeological Society, and by his wife Rosie. Based in Armadale, this group engages in aerial photography using kites, with remarkable results. Dr Wells and his wife are also keen to look at intended sites and to use infra-red KAP on sites where surface grass/soil has been removed. They are willing to demonstrate simple wireless-free kite aerial photography to anyone that is interested, preferably within a 90 minute drive of Armadale, West Lothian. This service is free of charge to archaeological groups.
